All I See Are Stripes
by Teresa White
What would it be like if everyone in the world were exactly alike? How would you feel if your neighbor looked exactly like you?
In All I See Are Stripes, by Teresa White, we meet Misty, a bored young horse grappling with the questions of her young existence. One day something interrupts her usual everyday routine of grazing, running, eating, and sleeping—she spots a different kind of horse at her ranch, one who looks very different from everyone else.
Zach is, in some ways, similar to Misty, but something about him toys with her mind. Why does he have black and white stripes?
This delightful story teaches us of the joys of being different, reminding us to always be proud of who we are.
