ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Walton Coates has lived in the Philadelphia area for all his eighty-four years, where he practiced law for over fifty years. He earned his B.S. in economics from the University of Pennsylvanias Wharton School in 1938, and in 1941, earned a law degree. Mr. Coates is a member of both the Pennsylvania and Montgomery County Bar Associations and has published articles in the Pennsylvania Bar Association Quarterly. He is a widower with one son, Phillip.
