On a very cold winter night, I, Jacqueline (Jackie for short), was born to the proud parents of Ruth Green and Matt Jones, and on this very cold winter night, our story begins.

In a small rural town in Ohio lives the Jones family. At first glance, they appear to be a strong, faithful group, despite their almost constant struggle with poverty. Led by a humble but loving mother, a man who struggles to reconcile his flaws in order to become a compassionate father, and one stoic Grandmamma, this family faces adversity together in the hopes that their combined faith will help them overcome any obstacle.

Sandra Delores Johnson is married and has four children and eleven grandchildren, one which they raise as their own. She received a degree in early childhood from Savannah Vocational Technical School and was licensed by the State of Georgia as the owner and operator of Mother Goose Daycare for twelve years.

Mrs. Johnson is a member of Kelly Temple Church H.U.T.L., and she enjoys writing, helping at-risk teens, and working with the youth.
