by David Estwick, BA, MBBS
As Dr. Estwick makes clear, excessive dietary intake of refined carbohydrate is the prime mover in the development of today’s chronic diseases, whether your intake of fats or protein is high or not. The scientific evidence is thoroughly examined and presented here so you can see for yourself. Dr. Estwick demonstrates just how high refined-carbohydrate usage creates hormone and enzyme imbalances that lead to generalized and localized oxidation stress, obesity, diabetes hypertension, high cholesterol levels, Alzheimer’s disease, and cancer.
But take heart if you’ve tried to lose weight by cutting your fat intake. Dr. Estwick also provides the key to protecting your health against the onslaught of the “diseases of civilization” linked to excessive carbohydrate consumption.
