ABOUT THE AUTHOR Martha Benghie Hyacinthe is a native of Haiti and now resides in Florida, where she graduated from North Miami Beach Senior High. She holds two associates degrees, in biology and nursing, from Miami Dade College. In addition to writing, the author enjoys a diverse range of personal interests, from singing, drawing, and dancing to web design, and she attends Stanton Memorial Baptist Church. Ms. Hyacinthe is the author of numerous published poems, including What Kind of Life Am I Living? Before I Die, and As the World Turns, among others. Every One of These is her first work of fiction.
