by Stephen L.D. Smith

Stephen L.D. Smith worked as a senior training officer at Firestone Station, located in the worst part of South Central Los Angeles. He, along with his fellow officers, faced death and injury every day in doing their duty. Law Enforcement through a Pig’s Eye shows the importance of maintaining a sense of humor in such a threatening environment.

While dealing with murders, crimes of violence, and theft, the officers of Firestone managed to find things to laugh about. Smith shares humorous, heart-touching, and downright amazing stories from his time on the force. From impersonating Wolfman Jack on a call to hazing the new officers, Smith will have you in stitches. This book will make you appreciate cops and what they go through to keep the streets safe.
