___________________________________________________________Life’s Waves: The Ebb and Flow of Womanhood (A Collective Journal)
by Annemarie P. Dandy
Life’s Waves: The Ebb and Flow of Womanhood (A Collective Journal) is a striking and intimate compilation of personal reflections. Annemarie P. Dandy’s work reads like a meditative journal, yet her outward focus allows the reader to be drawn into her thoughts and find solace and insight in her experiences.
Ms. Dandy balances spiritual encouragement with direct and candid advice for women seeking to truly find their own happiness. She writes:
Be your own guide—hold your own walking stick, tightly, sometimes with both hands, and put one foot in front of the other. (Good shoes are a must, both to keep your back in alignment and to kick the s—t out of those who tell you that you shouldn’t feel this way!)
Other selections included here reveal the author’s steadfast faith and offer a glimpse of the profound comfort and strength found in her relationship with God.
The imagery, reflections, and prayers of Life’s Waves: The Ebb and Flow of Womanhood (A Collective Journal) speak to women’s struggles and celebrations in a fresh and engaging voice.
