Instead, probably because of the influence of his protective and loving mother, he struggled to escape from the world of the projects and succeeded. Today he has his associates degree in criminal justice and works for the Department of Homeland Security. A native of Philadelphia, he now lives in Dayton, Ohio. He has three children and wishes he could see more of them. His hobbies include Hatha Yoga, jogging, and chess. (2005, paperback, 36 pages)
