Poems of a Schizophrenic
by Free Fasick
Most of the time we wear a mask. Nobody knows exactly what lies in a persons mind. But deep into the recesses of the human psyche are the untold wishes, darkest thoughts, and repressed memories.
Free Fasick dug into the depths of the human mind and put it into artful expression in her collection of poetry in Poems of a Schizophrenic, where dreamy sequences were captured in vivid detail. She delved into the morbid illusions of death, the urge to kill or being killed, dreams about the innermost fears, and state of paranoia, where demons and evil beings are the powerful ones. And then she painted a picture of love, devotion, and belief in God, where the acceptance of a schizoids personality is full and rational.
Fasicks poetry is a joy to read with its rhythm and rhyme and surprisingly gripping expression of thoughts.
