Shibboleths Choices is a work of creative fiction that explores the ramifications of the actions and coincidences that shape the life of a beautiful young girl, Carie, after the tragic deaths of her mother and grandmother. Her destiny is intricately tied to the shadowy organization known as the Shibboleths, as well as the Anacostia community of Washington, D.C. Manipulated by the selfish choices of others and her own emotional trauma, Caries choices are ultimately driven by her need for revenge, fueling a complex chain of events spanning twelve years and two continents before coming to a shocking conclusion.

Teresa N. Russell is a native of Washington, D.C., where she grew up and attended parochial school in Anacostia. She currently resides in North Carolina.
