We all hear about children who slip through the cracksthose whose parents arent capable of providing them adequate care and are turned over to our nations foster care system. This is the account of one couples attempt to give needy children a home. Over the years, the Causeys have had eighteen foster children come through their home, seven of which the couple adopted. In this heartwarming and inspiration story, the couple writes of what it takes to be a foster parent and encourages others to follow their lead. For the Causeys, every sacrifice has been worth it to know they have helped children grow successfully and become followers of Christ.

Bud and Brenda Causey describe themselves as ordinary people with ordinary means, and they used what means they had to help those who had no way to help themselves. Brenda has a LPN degree from Walker Technical College, and Bud holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Alabama. Bud is also an ordained minister. The couple has been married for twenty-four years, and both are natives of Alabama, where they still reside.
