by Jayne Ann Oliver
"Be still and know that I Am God." With this command, God demands our attention and insists we listen as he ushers us back into the fold. However, some of us are yet hard of hearing and turn our faces from Him, perhaps because we feel guilty and ashamed or not worthy or are too busy listening to the noise of the material world to pay attention to this still, small voice whispering of the unconditional love our Father has for us.
With joyful abandon, Jayne Ann Oliver tells her story of her return to the fold and how God has performed miracles both large and small in her life. While doing so she cajoles, prods, encourages and badgers us into listening for that still, small voice, the Whispers of God, calling us back to him.
